Your twisted fate
Moved the sky
At heaven's gate
Your mouth is dry
Wanting to go home
Human to the bone
You lost the way
Have you lost your mind
I'm right beside you
Just take your time
Would you like to see what's become of me
In a picturesque reality
Drowning in you
Feel the steady beat of your pacing feet
And the broken heart inside your chest
There is no control
In the sky where the moon will fall
Below the horizon, as day conquers all
Look to the night as the stars show you the way
Wait for the sun to rise and start the day
Feel the flesh underneath your skin
Breathe life into me again
Taste the wind and where its been
Hear your pulse as it stops again
And I should've known it would come to this
Living through metamorphosis
Anything you've ever wanted
Is nothing but your greed that's holding you
Back from all you've ever needed
To keep up this facade that you are fine
Cross the line
Human to the bone
Our path set in stone
The life you have known
Retrace your steps back home
Go forward
Move slower into the blinding light
Cross the line
Truth won't come any closer to you
Your lies will try to control you for your life
See body out of mind
Second set of eyes
Looking far beyond
Past the light of dawn
Don't you mind
It takes time to get to know you
Life goes by too fast
To get to know the world
Or the hell beneath it
You’ve seen this before
It’s nothing new, only repetition
Cycling back to the start
It’s difficult to make any sense of our mortal coil
From beginning to an end, we still are flesh and blood
Human to the bone
Our path set in stone
The life you have known
Retrace your steps back home
Human to the bone
Our light never shown
A life never told
How to find the way back home
I am flashed and I am wondering why I did not recognize this band earlier. Looking forward to hearing more from this talented and innovative guys in the near future. The album is a must have! almaju
Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ
