The lights from overhead
It leaves your vision red
And makes you close your eyes
Were blinded by hypocrisy,
And give ourselves to greed
Watch the guilty feed
Stop, regain focus
Spirits broken, as lies are spoken
I can tell that were lying again
Sleeping minds
Don’t realize what it means to be alive
Blinded eyes
Can’t see what left to discover
Meanings lost in old translations
Defies imaginations
Hear the volume of the universe
How it sings to all who listen in
Listen well
They took it all from me
They stole my eyes to see
And left me in the dark
They never let you be what you wanted to be
They were the ones that closed the prison door
Don’t sit here and wait for the day and you won’t need to pray
For you to get what you deserved, committed by yours truly
Living blissfully ignorant is like
Dying, not having seen it all
Sleeping minds
Don’t realize what it means to be alive
Blinded eyes
Can’t see what left to discover
Meanings lost in old translations
Defies imaginations
Hear the volume of the universe
How it sings to all who listen in
Listen well
Sleeping minds
Don’t realize what it means to be alive
Blinded eyes
Can’t see what left to discover
Meanings lost in old translations
Defies imaginations
Hear the volume of the universe
How it sings to all who listen in
So listen well
I am flashed and I am wondering why I did not recognize this band earlier. Looking forward to hearing more from this talented and innovative guys in the near future. The album is a must have! almaju
Perhaps a softer, more “pop-forward” album compared to Inmazes and Witness however equally as effective. Vola simply know how to make approachable and great music. 8/10 RJ
